And you don't brag about doing good deeds either ... which is why nobody else in town knew what Bobby was doing for Gloria Wilson ... or how much time he was spending in her company.
And that was fortunate, because Gloria was a divorced woman and, in the minds of the women in town ... including Bobby's mother ... that made her a sexual predator.
Which is how a woman who almost nobody in town would even speak to, ended up being befriended by a young man who treated her with respect, and dignity, and did nice things for her.
Which is why, once he was old enough, she decided to do some good deeds for Bobby too.
They were things his mother would have expected her to do, as a matter of fact.

Bobby 's good deeds

Another wonderful erotic tale from Mr. Lubrican. Bobby is a young boy scout learning to live by the Scouts motto, and do at least one good deed a day. Gloria is a beautiful 20-something who is shunned by the townsfolk because she must be a "ho" since she has no discernible means of sustainment. Bobby, not knowing any better, decides to help Gloria with chores. Over the years, a loving friendship develops, culminating in some hot and heavy sex. Funny, sexy, and heartwarming!

I can't tell you how glad I am that I bought this book (minor spoiler)

It's funny, it's sexy, and it has a very happy ending.
The funny part -- Bobby takes the Boy Scout rule about "Do a good deed every day" to heart. But when he tries to do a good deed, things wind up going wrong so spectacularly that he gets grounded for a month EVERY SINGLE TIME. Until he's fifteen and goes over to Gloria Wilson's house, his track record of good deeds completed successfully is ZERO. Like for instance the time he decides to use his slingshot to kill a squirrel that's stealing food from a bird-feeder in a neighbor's back yard -- he winds up shooting out the glass in the neighbor's sliding-glass door. WHOOPS.
But at fifteen he makes friends with the scandalous divorcee Gloria Wilson. His friendship starts with a good deed -- he carries in her groceries. And while she isn't the floozy that every woman in town thinks she is, she does have a smoking hot body, she does love sex, and both Gloria and Bobby are attracted to each other. During the two-plus years of the story, Bobby learns about sex and Gloria learns about love.
The ending is perfect. I won't go into detail because I don't want to ruin things with a spoiler, but at the end Bobby does something very goodhearted and very brave, and then he and Gloria live happily -- sorry, can't say more.

Another fine story by Robert

I have had this one for a while but accidently deleted it from my kindle, I have read it at least a dozen time to my great enjoyment. See my review for "The Hermit of Scarecrow Valley" to read more about my feelings for Robert's work.
